Our History.

The North Channel Bank was founded in 1924 as a private bank called Bankhaus Oswald Kruber located in Berlin. In 2009, a group of investors with expertise in the life settlement industry purchased the bank. Their vision: To make the renamed North Channel Bank into the leader for investors in the life settlement market.

Life settlements present an undervalued option for investment—but the 2008 credit crisis, combined with lack of understanding and financial access for investors, have limited the potential for investing.

North Channel Bank's mission is to close these gaps by providing access to financing and, through our partners, specialized risk management techniques and services designed to maximize returns.
